The Standard edition is already very good leather for the money. I wish the strap option were available on this shape - it is strictly a hand carry.

Zhenxuan questions, answered

01Standard or Deluxe - what actually differs?

The shape and frame are identical. Standard uses classic full-grain with brushed hardware and fabric lining. Deluxe uses hand-selected hides with tighter grain, polished solid brass and a suede lining. You are paying for hide quality and finishing.

02Can I upgrade later?

No - the editions are made as separate runs. If you are choosing once, the Deluxe is the one owners write to us about.

03Does the push-lock jam?

The lock is steel under the leather and tested through thousands of cycles. Keep perfume and hand gel away from it and it will outlast the leather.

04Strictly a hand carry?

Yes - the rolled handle is the only carry method by design. If you need a strap, our Yazhi or Yueya shapes cover that.
